I have had a really busy day today, well yesterday too, so maybee it's not so strange that I am soo tired right now. Just going to get my kids to bed and then watch some tv... Today I was to the city with our youngest and a friend to do some shopping. I bought so much! But it was on half the sale-price so it didn't end up so expensive anyway... :)
Little DS who usually hate to follow shopping, said he had a god time today!

It's about time I got these posted here! I just wonder - where do time go? I don't seem to get half what I wan't done... But part of my lack of time these days is that I have decided to stay away from the computer when little DS is at home and awake. Spending more time with him, playing and drawing and so on, no matter how much I love digiscrapping and designing, the memories I make in my layouts is not much worth if I don't get us some real memories of times spent together. So, that is why I haven't had time to blog as much as I should have....
Got lot's of templates I haven't posted here yet, and since I will right after this post a freebie I wan't to show you these...
The first templates I will show is Drifting, you know I like to play around with the placement of the papers.

If you, as I do, use more than one computer - or just need backupspace, you can try and use a online storage service. I use dropbox, wich works great! I got it installed on the computers I usually use, and I can get to my files from any other computer too with my username and password. Awesome when I am working on a document or scrapping and know that I will wan't to continue on my laptop later...
So, try it out! :D

I like Dropbox. It's got moxie.

Hi! I am getting ready to start up after a relaxing summmer holidays, only problem is our internet is also relaxed, haha, uploading takes forever, so I will call the internetcompany today and get it worked out.

We are back...Oke Ella is back!! Hahaha and this time

with amazing new templates she created a while ago!

This is what ella has says about them:

I made some curled edges, and then I played around making

templates with them. So, all of these templates got some curled

edges, one got a filmstrip frame on it - a little sneek-peak from

my next relase, one could say ;)
Instruction for use of the curled edges are included.

The templates are complete with shadows (in their own layers)

made in 300 dpi, 3600*3600 and comes as both PSD-and TIFF-files.

Hi all!

Oke where will I start? These templates are amazing

and very fun to work with! Ella is really in a creative

mood the last few weeks, just take a look at these and

Summer is here and I was inspired by flowers making

We have heard that there are some problems regarding

We are so SORRY for all the trouble with them after

Well, now it's bedtime for me, was early morning today, luckily L won't have to go to school this early tomorrow... (had to leave with her at 7 today and the last 3 days)

Puh! Har varit på stan med barnen (nåja, 3 av dom) och shoppat rea! Roligt att fynda, och otroligt, jag köpte till och med till mig! På Cubus hade dom halva, halva priset och där hittade jag 2 jackor, köpte båda men ska lämna tillbaka ena. Till Louise hittade jag ett par snygga svarta byxor, en fin blårutig blus (precis en sånn som hon velat ha!) och en velourkofta. Jesper fick ett par byxor och 3 t-shirts, och en jacka, men den åker tillbaka. Också lite billiga underkläder till L&L på KappAhl (halva reapriset).
Tur nog hade vi färdig köttsoppa hemma som det bara var och värma.
Phew! I been to town with my kids (well, 3 off them) and shopping on the sale! Fun to find bargains, and incredible, I even bought something for me! I found some clothes on half, half price, so I got a new winterjacket, Pants, a blouse and a cardigan for Louise. For Jesper I bought a pair of pants and 3 t-shirts (and one jacket but I will return that one, so grey and boring) And some cheap underwear for half the saleprice.
Luckily we had some meat soup at home just to heat... really tired now...

Snickerskaka! mmmm farligt god!

Gjorde en snickerskaka i afton som blev farligt god, fick rädda oss genom att ställa in den i frysen!
Snickerskaka
Botten:
2 ägg
3 dl socker
150 gram smör
4½ dl vetemjöl
2 tsk vaniljsocker
2 tsk bakpulver
1 msk kakao (tog lite mer)
1½ dl mjölk
3 dl salta jordnötter
Smält smöret och låt det svalna.
Vispa ägg och socker pösigt.
Blanda ihop de torra ingredienserna och rör ner dom, samt mjölken och de smälta smöret i smeten. B
re ut smeten i en smord långpanna.
Hacka jordnötterna grovt och strö över.
Grädda mitt i ugnen i 175 grader, ca 25 min.
Gör under tiden kolasåsen.
Kolasås:
1 dl farinsocker
1 dl ljus sirap
1 dl vispgrädde
1 tsk vaniljsocker
100 gram smör
Blanda ihop farinsocker, sirap och grädde och låt puttra i 20 min.
Rör ner smöret och vaniljsockret.
ut över den varma kakan. Låt svalna.
Bred på smält, mörk choklad...

And on english:
Made a Snickers cake in the evening, which was dangerous good, but save us by putting it into the freezer!

Snickers cake

Bottom:

2 eggs

3 dl sugar

150 grams butter

4 ½ dl wheat flour

2 teaspoons vanilla sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 tbsp cocoa (took a bit more)

1 ½ cups - dl - milk

3 dl salted peanuts

Melt the butter and allow to cool.

Whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy.

Mix together the dry ingredients and stir them, and milk and the melted butter into batter.
Bre the batter into a greased roasting pan.

Chop peanuts and sprinkle with coarse.

Bake in middle of oven at 175 degrees about 25 min.

Make caramel sauce in the meantime.

Caramel sauce:

1 dl brown sugar

1 dl light syrup

1 dl whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

100 grams butter

Mix together brown sugar, syrup and cream and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Stir in butter and vanilla sugar.

out over the warm cake. Allow to cool.

Spread melted, dark chocolate on it... mmmmm ...

Having fun with project 365! One more week finished, I used my File it! 365 templates.
You can find them at Myscrapshop and at scrapscandistyle.
Monday was the first day back to school for the older kids. L was soaking wet when he came hone, warmer weather and when they renovated the school they seem to have forgotten to put it drying cupboards... (hmm realy smart since the kids must be outside on the breaks...)
Tuesday: Ls 12th birthday, but he thought it was rather booring to go to school on his birthday...
Wednesday: J used his new overall for the first time, it came yesterday.
thursday: J likes to draw police men.
Friday: Lo came home all wet and cold and wanted hot cocoa, and left the ingredients on the bench, so J made some too... little bit of a mess...
Saturday: City shopping and then we cleaned out christmas.
Sunday: Just a peaceful day home not doing much...

Riktigt roligt med projekt 365!

Måndag: Första skoldagen på terminen, L kom hem sjöblöt, smart nog har de när de renoverat skolan låtit bli att sätta in torkskåp igen, och idag var det milt väder...

Tisdag: L födelsedag, tråkigt med skola på födelsedagen tyckte han...
Onsdag: Joel fick ny overall (en fin Helly Hansen) med posten igår som invigdes idag.
Torsdag: Joel gillar att rita polisgubbar.. (de är snart huvudfotingar, har huvud, och streck till armar o ben)
Fredag: Lo kom hem kall o blöt o ville ha varm choklad, men lämnade framme ingredienserna, så joel gjorde egen... kladdigt...
Lördag. till stan o handlade lite kläder till barnen (halva reapriset) sedan städade vi bort julen

Söndag: bara en lugn skön hemmadag, bakade en kaka som blev farligt god.

I just couldn't help my self! I sat down to relax (headache) so I was going to make a layout, it's the best way for me to relax when I have headaches, believe it or not! Anyway... I ended up with a new template instead, but these were so fun to make!

Friday morning... enjoying a peacefull morning by my self (should be studying) sitting by the computer, feets freezing, and still I got my down-slippers on my, I really should be living somewhere warmer!
Yesterday it was sunny and really nice autumn weather, so I took a walk with my 2 youngest and bought my self a soft ice cream. Our sweet stall is famous for having HUGE soft ice creams so I bought the smallest size for me and my DD...

I could only eat half, even if it was delicous! So when little DS woke up I gave him the rest, but he only ate a little of it...

so DD got almost to ice creams! She didn´t mind....

But now! Ella proudly presents:

After request, these templates will make beautiful frontpages for photobooks, but they are really just as beautiful as layouts for print or inside a photobook. The templates has rings holding the papers together, and some of the papers are a torn from the holes (effect included in own layer)

I have included them as both PSD- and TIFF-files, if your program allows the use of TIFF, that is what I recommend.

Another part of my File it! series is up! This time templates for double-pagers!

Tell us a bit about yourself…
Well, I am Ella, a mother of 4 children, age 2 -14 years old, and we live in sweden in a house that we try to fix up.
I started digiscrapping when I expected our youngest child, as a way to preserve the memories of his childhod. Had tried using “the book about me” for his brothers and sister, but they always seemed to be forgotten after a while… don’t have that problem with our youngest though since I really fell in love with digiscrapping, the book about his first year ended up with 80 pages (not all layouts used then) and the second won’t be any thinner! Now I really love to sit by the computer and make some layouts, I find it really relaxing.
How did you become a digiscrap designer?
Started a little carefully quite soon actually, needed some things that I couldn’t find (didn’t know about so many stores then…) so I made them myself and got the question from some girls where they could get them.
What software do you use?
I use Photoshop CS3, and Illustrator a little bit.
Where does your inspiration come from?
Sometimes that there is something I need that I can’t find, or that doesn’t look exactly as I want it to look. But the way I feel reflects quite a lot in my designs, you can see that most clearly in my kit melancholia, felt so good to make that kit and still love it a lot!
Do you have a particular style?
I don’t think so…
What’s your favourite product you’ve designed?
Melancholia is one of my favourites, and I really like Play with Cartoon too, that was really fun to make. It was only going to be a mini kit to go with the action, but I couldn’t help my self making it larger and larger. LOL
Your number one tip for scrappers and/or designers?
Have FUN! When I forgett to have fun my inspiration disappears and neither the layouts or the kits turn out to anything I want to use. So never forget to have fun!

Little DS got sick and got antibiotics for it, after that he started getting spots/rashes all over his body that only got worse, finally I took him to the emergency, and it turned out that he is allergic to the antibiotics. So now he got medicine for the allergy instead...He points at the spots saying; spot! docto!

Min lilla son en dag, egentligen var han väldigt trött och ledsen den dagen, men när jag frågade om jag fick ta ett kort på han satte han sig upp i soffan och log ett så vackert leende, mammahjärtat smälte (ännu mer ) det lustiga är att han nästan aldrig "smilar upp sig" för kameran så där (älskar de här korten så jag var tvungen att göra en till layout med dom där korten var mer i fokus)My little DS, the mirror in the image is how he really was that day, sad and tired, but I asked him if I could take his picture and then he sat up in the couch with the most beautiful smile on his face.
